The completion of this course alone does not lead to an Ofqual regulated qualification, but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills towards regulated qualifications in the future. The unit summary can be used as evidence towards your Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this sector.
Who is this course for?
If you want to develop your knowledge of Animal Behaviour so that you can embark on a rewarding career ranging from zookeeping and professional pet training, right through to wildlife conservation and academic research; or maybe you are already working in a related field and want to improve your career prospects, then this is the course for you.
Requirements
You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this home study course. This course is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
Career path
You’ll be able to look after animals in places like kennels, the zoo, animal rescue centres and sanctuaries. You could also work in animal hospitals, Blue Cross adoption centres or as an animal collection officer for the RSPCA.
